Colorado Statutory Short Form Power of Attorney

Colorado residents, appoint someone you trust to handle your property and finances with this Statutory Short Form Power of Attorney under the Colorado Uniform Power of Attorney Act, C.R.S. 15-14-740.

At your discretion, you can grant your attorney-in-fact the power to deal with any or all of the following matters:

• real estate,
• banking and financial transactions,
• stocks and bonds,
• personal property,
• insurance,
• pension and employment benefits,
• tax matters,
• legal matters,
• business operations.

This Power of Attorney DOES NOT give your attorney-in-fact the authority to make health care or other medical decisions for you. That will require a Medical Power of Attorney.

This Colorado Statutory Short Form Power of Attorney is updated to reflect 2010 changes to the Act.
