Florida Notice of Commencement

Florida property owners, if you are having improvements done to your property, give notice to all interested parties by serving them with a Notice of Commencement, as required by Chapter 713 of the Florida Statutes.

The Notice of Commencement sets out the first day that construction, improvements or renovations on the property are to begin, and gives relevant information about the contractor, the surety, the owner and the work to be performed.
