Quebec Tenant's Reply to Notice of Rent Increase
Quebec tenants, has your landlord served you with notice of a rental increase or some other modification to your lease?
You must respond by serving the landlord with this Tenant's Reply to Notice of Rent Increase and Modification of Another Condition of the Lease, in accordance with article 1955 of the Civil Code of Quebec. The Notice informs your landlord that you have decided either to renew the lease with the modifications, or to not renew the lease and vacate the premises, or to refuse the modifications and renew the lease as is.
