Videographer Contract

Videographers, provide your services to a customer under this professional Videographer Contract.

• Purpose of Contract. The contract is designed for special events such as weddings, anniversaries, graduations, bar mitzvahs, etc.
• Retainer. The customer must pay a non-refundable retainer to secure the videographer for the event date, which is forfeited if the event date is changed or cancelled.
• Venue. The customer is responsible for obtaining permission from the venue for filming the event, for obtaining any required security passes or credentials, and for arranging parking and meals (if applicable) for the videographer staff.
• Exclusive Contract. The videographer will be the exclusive professional videographer for the event.
• Copyright. Copyright in the video and images created remain the sole property of the videographer.
• Indemnification. The customer agrees to indemnify the videographer against any claims or losses arising out of the customer’s use of the video or the customer’s breach of the contract.
• Schedules. The contract includes a sample list of services and a rate sheet.
