Broad Rights Synch License for Film Music
Film producers, obtain the rights to use specific music in a motion picture with this Broad Rights Synch License for Film Music.
- Non-Exclusive Rights. The publisher of the music grants the producers a nonexclusive world-wide right in perpetuity to record, dub and/or synchronize the composition in or as part of the soundtrack for a film production, and to perform and exhibit the work wherever the movie is shown in movie theaters throughout North America.
- Rights Excluded. The license does NOT grant the right to broadcast the film on television, pay per view, satellite, subscription TV or otherwise, except under the auspices of the appropriate performing rights society.
- License Fees. License fees are based on a sliding scale according to the number of recording units sold (i.e. CDs, DVDs, videos, etc).
