Colorado Tangible Personal Property Memorandum
CO residents can use this free Colorado Tangible Personal Property Memorandum to pass on personal property to loved ones, in conjunction with doing a Last Will and Testament.
Colorado law allows a testator (a person executing a will) to pass tangible personal property to beneficiaries by using a “written statement or list” referenced in the will, under C.R.S. § 15-11-513. The advantage to using a separate Memorandum to list these items is that if there are any changes, you can make a new Memorandum without having to change your will. This free Colorado Tangible Personal Property Memorandum includes instructions on how to complete and sign it. Downloadable and fully editable.
