Connecticut Notice to Tenant to Remedy Breach (Other than Nonpayment of Rent)
Connecticut landlords, if you have a tenant who is in breach of the rental agreement (other than for being behind in the rent payment), serve him/her with this Notice to Tenant to Remedy Breach (Other than Nonpayment of Rent), pursuant to the Connecticut General Statutes.
- The Notice requires the tenant to remedy the breach within 15 days from receipt of the notice.
- If the tenant does not remedy the breach within 15 days, the rental agreement terminates and the tenant will be served with a Notice to Quit and will be required to vacate the premises.
- A Service of Notice form is included to record the details of how the Notice was served on the tenant.
