Michigan Notice to Quit, Termination of Tenancy
Michigan landlords, if you have reason to terminate a tenant, you must first serve him/her with this Notice to Quit, Termination of Tenancy pursuant to State law.
The tenant is required to quit (vacate) the premises by the specified date. If the tenant fails to vacate the premises by the specified date, the landlord can file a complaint with the district court to proceed with the eviction process. A Proof of Service form is included, to record the details of service.
