Northern Territory Notice to Remedy Breach (Other Than Failure to Pay Rent)
Is your landlord or tenant in breach of the tenancy agreement?
Serve them with this Notice to Remedy Breach (Other Than Failure to Pay Rent) ⁄ Notice of Termination, in accordance with the Northern Territory Residential Tenancies Act.This Notice may be served by either the landlord or the tenant on the other party for any breach of the tenancy agreement, EXCEPTING ONLY the tenant's failure to pay the rent. For that, you must use a Notice to Remedy Unpaid Rent form.
The Notice to Remedy Breach includes:
- sections of the Residential Tenancies Act which describe the proper method of giving notice,
- an Affidavit of Service,
- a Withdrawal of Termination Notice, to be signed by the landlord (or agent) and the tenant, in the event that the parties settle the matter and agree to continue the tenancy.
