Georgia Preliminary Notice of Lien Rights
Georgia contractors, you can file this Preliminary Notice of Lien Rights before filing a lien claim for work or materials supplied for construction or improvements to a property, pursuant to OCGA Section 44-14-361.3.
If you opt to file the Preliminary Notice with the superior court, you must file a Cancellation after final payment has been made by the property owner. The Cancellation form is included. The form also contains relevant sections of the OCGA dealing with making, filing and serving the Notice.
