Ontario Notice of Rent Increase - Unit Partially Exempt
Ontario landlords, if your tenant's rental unit is partially exempt from the provincial guideline for rent increases, you are able to raise the rent by any amount, provided that you first give your tenant proper notice with this Notice of Rent Increase - Unit Partially Exempt form.
The Notice sets out the amount of the rent increase, and the date on which the increase will become effective. It also contains information for the tenant about the provisions of the Residential Tenancies Act.
