Ontario Notice to Increase Rent and/or Charges for Care Services and Meals
Ontario care home landlords, if you wish to increase the rent and/or charges for the care services and meals provided to a tenant, you must first give notice to the tenant with this Notice to Increase Rent and/or Charges for Care Services and Meals form.
The Notice sets out the amount of the rent increase, and the date on which the increase will become effective. The landlord must indicate whether approval is required under the Tenant Protection Act or the Residential Tenancies Act.
