Montana 14 Day Notice to Tenant of Breach of Rental Agreement

Montana landlords, if you have a tenant who is in breach of the terms of the rental agreement, serve him/her with this 14 Day Notice to Tenant of Breach of Rental Agreement, in accordance with the Landlord and Tenant Act.

This Notice should NOT be used for breaches of the rental agreement which arise from:

• unauthorized persons residing in the premises,
• an unauthorized pet, or
• damage ⁄ destruction to the premises by the tenant.

The tenant is required to remedy the breach within 14 days or the landlord will terminate the rental agreement. A Service of Notice form is included, to record the details of service.
