Montana Termination of Rental Agreement and Notice to Quit
Montana landlords, if you have reason to terminate a residential tenant, serve him/her with this Termination of Rental Agreement and Notice to Quit, in accordance with the Landlord and Tenant Act.
- The tenant is notified that the rental agreement has been terminated due to the tenant failing to remedy a previous breach of which notice was given.
- The tenant is required to vacate (quit) the premises within a specified time frame or the landlord will start eviction proceedings to recover possession of the property.
- A Service of Notice form is included, to record how the Notice is served on the tenant.
